What is a linear metre?
One linear metre is one metre along a board. For example, ten 3-metre boards total 30 linear metres. Width affects how much deck area those boards cover.
Will all the boards be the same colour?
No two boards are identical. The gallery shows examples of the colour variation; lighting, age and the chosen finish also affect the appearance.
How much decking do I need?
Use the calculator beside the quantity selector for an initial estimate. It includes board width, your selected gap and a waste allowance, then rounds up to 50 LM lots with a 100 LM minimum per size. Confirm the final take-off against your deck layout.
What does S&B mean?
S&B means Standard & Better — the grade of this Spotted Gum decking. Ask us about the natural features you can expect in the supplied boards.
Which finish and fixings should I use?
Tell us about your project and exposure. Confirm the installation, fixing and maintenance requirements with your supplier and the relevant product instructions.
